Northwest Guitar Festival 2014 The 23rd annual event runs through Sunday. “The Laramie Project: Ten Years Later” – Thursday-April 26. A decade after creating “The Laramie Project,” Moises Kaufman and the Tectonic Theatre Project decided to explore the long-term effects of the Matthew Shepard murder on the town of Laramie, Wyo. “Be a Dancer to Beat Cancer” Oldies Dance The 16th annual event to raise funds for American Childhood Cancer Organization Inland Northwest’s Get Acquainted Program. The program operates a family day camp three times a year for newly diagnosed children and siblings to have the camp experience and parents will be pampered and given an opportunity to immediately connect with other families going through the same journey.
