15th Annual Premier Home Improvement Show Friday through Sunday. More than 200 vendors showcasing the latest in home remodeling and improvement. SCC Spring Flower and Garden Show Fourth annual event is themed “Through the Looking Glass” with larger-than-life “Alice in Wonderland” floral exhibits. Rockford Frog Regatta Festival The annual event includes free hot dogs and free games for kids of all ages, plus a frog regatta in Rock Creek. Dishman Hills Buttercup Hike This hike will be led by Michael Hamilton, former DHC President, retired geologist and resident naturalist. Jack Nisbet: David Douglas’s Nine Lives David Douglas was a Scottish naturalist who did much of his best work in the Pacific Northwest, where his contacts with local fur traders and tribal families resulted in key information about our native landscape.
