The Slice: The city of friends of friends

This sort of thing happens in Spokane all the time.

One recent Saturday, I was at the home of some friends. I noticed that they had a neon art piece I recognized as the work of another friend of mine who lives here in Spokane.

When was the last time you made an unexpected connection and discovered you were part of a Spokane friendship triangle?

A bicycle tour of Spokane: There’s a new multi-stage event coming to next month’s Bike to Work Week. It’s called “Commute of the Century,” and it’s a chance for cyclists to assess and then weigh in on the city’s bike-riding experience.
