Obituary: Burroughs, Teddy “Ted”
Age 86
Ted was born August 29, 1927 in Sagle, Idaho.
He served in the Navy from 1945-1948 on a boat in Subic Bay, Philippines.
He was the first person to graduate from Eastern Washington University as a Medical Technologist.
After graduating he owned and operated his own medical laboratory in Spokane for over thirty years until his retirement.
Ted loved racing, riding and breeding Quarterhorses, He especially loved his horse Foggy River.
Ted is preceded in death by his parents, Theodore Burroughs and Hazel Violette (Sands) Burroughs; and his wife of 61 years, Phyllis Ann (Bohan) Burroughs.
He is survived by his daughter, Leanne; and grandson, T.J., who will miss him dearly, along with other family members.
A memorial graveside service will be held Friday, April 18, 2014 at 1PM at the Newport Cemetery.
