God’s law points the way

Leonard Pitts Jr. continues his Christian-bashing with his April 7 article condemning World Vision and Richard Stearns, as well as all of Christianity. Individual Christians and Christian organizations have always been and continue to be some of the first on the scene to stand up for, and give aid to, the oppressed, the weak, the poor, the widows and the orphans, even when it means going into war-torn countries and risking their lives.

But Christians cannot condone homosexual marriage. As the apostles Peter and John stated, “We must obey God’s law over man’s law.” That is what World Vision is doing. Jesus warned us that in the “last days” before he returns, that men (like Pitts) would call evil good and good evil.
