Obituary: Hoglin, Agnes Bertha Elizabeth

HOGLIN, Agnes Bertha Elizabeth May 21, 1921 - April 11, 2014 Born in the township of Dexter, Wood County, Wisconsin, the 8th of 9 siblings.

Married Carl Roy Hoglin on November 28, 1944.

Moved to Spokane in 1949 and then to Shelton in 2008.

Agnes passed away after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer just short of her 93rd birthday.

Preceded in death by all of her siblings, husband Roy (2000), sons Tom (1993) and Richard (1994).

Survived by her daughter, Linda and Vince Rainier (Shelton, WA); son Harry Hoglin and partner Monte Leahy (Seattle, WA); daughter-in-law, Mary Hoglin (Spokane); sisters-in-law Marita Krause (Wisconsin Rapids, WI), Esther Westlund (Spokane, WA), and Leona Krause (Noblesville, IN); six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews in Wisconsin, California and Utah and many friends.

A graveside service will be held at Spokane Memorial Gardens on April 21, 2014, at 1:00 P.M. FOREST FUNERAL HOME in Shelton, WA is in charge of the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers a memorial to the American Cancer Society (1-800-227-2345) is appreciated.
