Oppose money in politics

OK, enough is enough. No matter what party you are in, we have to band together against the corrupting influence of too much money in our politics. I doubt seriously anyone in Spokane County actually makes enough to be considered being in the top 0.01 percent, and that is ultimately the only group that will benefit from the Citizens United and McCutcheon decisions.

We have to stop these folks, like they did in Montana 100 years ago with the Copper Kings. There is already a movement to get Spokane to Move to Amend the Constitution (SMAC). You can Google it.

We can build on that foundation to get our U.S. senators and Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers to stand up for us.
