on a course in Hawaii.

Bette and Bowen loved to travel and visited many countries throughout the world.

They took numerous cruises, including trips to the Caribbean and Alaska, celebrating their 50th and 60th wedding anniversaries with their children and grandchildren.

Bette was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Bowen Thayer, on December 2, 2013.

She is survived by her three daughters, Wendy Burns (Roy) of Grants Pass, Or., Julie Arlyne of Spokane Valley, and Jan Frisch (Bill) of Spokane Valley; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
