Obituary: Duncan, Dennis E.

DUNCAN, Dennis E. (Age 56) Passed away peacefully at his home on April 23, 2014.

He grew up on the family farm east of Fairfield where he helped his father farm.

He was a graduate of Plummer High School, class of 1977 where he met his wife Terry.

He attended Spokane Community College where he obtained his degree in diesel mechanics.

Upon graduation Dennis returned home to follow his passion of farming.

He worked for his father for several years before starting his own farm.

As time went on, his farm grew as well as the family, Dennis and Terry had 3 sons.

Dennis became a successful farmer due to his hard work, dedication and treating people fairly.

After being diagnosed with cancer in March of 2012, he started to fulfill his desire to vacation and spend more time with his family and friends.

He fought the battle for two long years before succumbing to his illness.

He loved his family, farming, scuba diving, vacations and John Deere.

He was a genuine person, always willing to help others and was a model to all those who knew him.

He will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.

He is survived by his sons; Denny (Jennifer), Shane (Marie), Kyle (Jordan).

Grandchildren: Grace and Collin.

Former wife: Terry.

Mother: Claudia Nelson.

Father: Bill Duncan.

Siblings: Dave, Debbie, Randy, Pat and Lori.

Extended Family and Friends.

A memorial service will be held at the Fairfield Presbyterian Church this Saturday at 1:00 pm.
