Obituary: Ryan, Timothy J.

Age 72

RYAN, Timothy J.

(Age 72) Passed away on April 27, 2014 at Hospice House - North in Spokane.

Tim was born on July 26, 1941 in St. Paul, Minnesota to John and Florence Ryan.

Tim spent the majority of his life in Spokane.

He attended Gonzaga Prep and then spent time at Notre Dame.

He then met and married his wife of 45 years, Jean Ryan.

Tim worked for Burlington Northern Rail Road till the mid-eighties when he became ill with Crohn’s.

Although he resided in Spokane, Tim spent part of his life in western Montana and winters in Yuma, Arizona with friends.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and motorsports.

Tim’s passion was always his kindness to others.

To all who knew “The Irishman”, he will be missed.

Tim is survived by his wife Jean; sister Pat (Leo) Sax of Wenatchee, WA; children Shelly Logan of Heber Springs, AR, Larry Ryan of Wells, NV, and Michelle (Doug) Morse of Spokane, WA; grandchildren, Keslynn, Haylee, Emma, Lauren, River, and Claire; as well as many cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Holy Cross Cemetery, 7200 N. Wall, Spokane.

Following the service will be a celebration of life at Mamma Mia’s, 420 W. Francis Ave, Spokane.
