Obituary: Hall, Ralph Waldo
Age 93
Ralph was born on October 3, 1920, in Salina, KS.
He was the youngest of three children born to Ralph W. and Nellie (Ray) Hall Wilson.
Ralph was raised and schooled in Grandview, WA.
He was in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1945, serving as a medical technician in San Francisco, Douglas, AZ, and in the European-African-Middle Eastern Theater.
Following his discharge, Ralph married Dorothy May Peters in Colville, WA, on December 31, 1945.
They moved to Spokane in 1946.
Ralph was an electrician who oversaw numerous construction projects in the Northwest.
In 1975 he became an electrical inspector for the City of Spokane, retiring in 1984.
Ralph enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and gardening.
In the summer of 2012, Ralph was privileged to visit the World War II War Memorial in Washington, DC, as part of a tour sponsored by the Inland Northwest Honor Flight program.
He is survived by two nephews, James R. Hall of Walla Walla, WA, and Timothy Brown of Las Vegas, NV, and their families.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, his son Ralph Waldo Hall, Jr., his sister Ethlyn Brown, his brother Charles R. Hall, and his wife Dorothy.
Burial with Military Honors will be on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. Greenwood Memorial Terrace, 211 N. Government Way, Spokane.
