FINLEY, Wash. – The Benton County Sheriff’s Office says three bodies were found Saturday morning on a farm south of Finley.

The Sheriff’s Office said the deaths are being investigated as a triple homicide.

Authorities said a farmworker found two people dead near a cornfield about 6 a.m., the Tri-City Herald reported.

Benton County Sheriff’s Lt. Chuck Jones said deputies arrived soon after and found a third body. The bodies were on farmland off Nine Canyon Road, southeast of the intersection with Coffin Road, he said.

Benton County Coroner John Hansens said the names of the victims were not being released because family has yet to be notified.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
