Obituary: Kunz, Diane M.

KUNZ, Diane M. Diane was born in Spokane on October 10, 1942.

She was raised in Spokane and graduated from Holy Names Academy.

After a two month illness, she passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on July 10, 2014.

Preceding her in death were, her mother, Billie Bryan; her father, Walter T. Bryan; and her step-father, Richard McTighe.

She is survived by her husband Steve, who had 35 wonderful years with her; sons: Jerry Wasson and Jim Wasson (Shannon) and grandson, Mathew; step-sons: Blake Kunz (Colleen) and grandchildren: Kara and Tyler, and Craig Kunz (Heidi) and grandchildren: Cameron and Riley.

Also surviving are her brother, Beau McTighe (Connie); sisters, Susie Andrews (Michael), and Mary Jo McTighe.

Diane loved her family.

She and Steve hosted a summer family reunion at their home for many years.

She was a great cook and an avid reader, always ready to recommend a new book or author.

Donations in her memory may be made to Hospice of Spokane.

No service is planned.

Diane will be missed by everyone that knew and loved her.
