Flash flood warning for north central Washington

WENATCHEE, Wash. — The National Weather Service says heavy rain is falling Thursday morning over north central Washington, including areas left bare by recent wildfires.

Forecasters issued a flash flood warning for flooding, debris flows and mudslides for areas in Chelan and Douglas counties, including Entiat, Manson and Lake Chelan State Park.

The Wenatchee World reports Pangborn Memorial Airport recorded nearly an inch of rain in half an hour.

Minor flooding was reported across Highway 150 in Manson, and there were reports of rocks on the roadway between Entiat and Chelan. Power outages have been reported in the Manson area and on the Waterville Plateau.
