3: Montgomery Gentry

Part of the Festival at Sandpoint series. When Kentucky boys Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry busted onto the national scene in 1999 with their defiant “Hillbilly Shoes,” country music fans took notice of the hard-driving duo. They’ve scored 14 Top 10 Singles with five hitting No. 1: “Something to be Proud of,” “If You Ever Stop Solving Me,” “Lucky Man,” “Back When I Knew It All” and “Roll with Me.”

5: Dumpstaphunk with Taylor Hicks

Substitution for Dr. John and the Nite Trippers, who had to cancel due to “unforeseen circumstances.” Part of the Aftival Concert Series. New Orleans-based Dumpstaphunk features Ivan Neville on vocals. Taylor Hicks is an “American Idol” winner known for his soulful crooning.

3: North Idaho Fair and Rodeo

With the theme “Summer’s Best Tradition,” the fair offers family fun and entertainment, with live music, carnival rides and games, food vendors, arts and crafts, livestock, contests and community exhibits. Special events include Dustin Lynch in concert Wednesday at 7 p.m. ($8-$18); PRCA Xtreme Bulls, Thursday at 7 p.m. ($7-$10); and PRCA Rodeos, Friday and Saturday at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at 12:30 p.m ($7).
