Obituary: Hunt, Brian Scott

HUNT, Brian Scott (Age 40) Brian Scott Hunt, of Spokane Valley WA, passed away August 13, 2014, at Hospice House of Spokane Wa.

After a very tough struggle with kidney cancer he was welcomed into Heaven by his nephews Travis and Tyler Hunt.

Brian was born after a dangerous pregnancy to Wilbur and Jeanne Hunt on December 5, 1973, making him a miracle from the start.

He was a lifelong resident of Elk, WA., only recently moving “to town”.

He married Kendra Johnston in June 1998.

They have four intelligent, beautiful, and lively children, Allison, Alexandra, Abigail, and Angus Ian.

Brian was the first of his family to achieve his high school diploma.

He graduated from Riverside High School in 1992.

He later went to college even continuing his studies after his diagnosis.

Brian was a hard worker and a respected manager in his field of Data Operations at Data.com.

Brian was dedicated to his family.

Along with his family, he loved working on his tractor, his TD 40, and especially working the family sawmill with his dad and brothers.

Brian relaxed by swimming as much as possible.

He is survived by his wife, Kendra Hunt; children, Allison, Alexandra, Abigail, and Angus Ian; his parents, Wilbur and Jeanne Hunt; siblings, Tim(Leanna) Hunt, Paul(Terri) Hunt, Lisa Hunt, Jaclyn(Eric) Murphy; in laws, Darrel and Jeanne Johnston, Kevin(Teresa) Johnston, Kristina(James) McGann; and many well loved nephews and nieces.

Brian was loved and respected by all that knew him and will be greatly missed.

He was truly a good man.

Services will be held August 16th, 10am, at Country Church of the Open Bible, 40015 North Collins Road, Elk, WA.
