Mailer an abuse of franking

A recent glossy 8x11 mailer entitled “Cathy McMorris Rodgers Senior Update” is an abuse of the congressional franking privilege. The Office of Congressional Ethics found “substantial evidence” McMorris Rodgers had misused federal money for campaign purposes in 2012, so she is well aware that taxpayer funds may not be used for campaign purposes.

It is disturbing that a “leader” in the House, especially one who rails against wasteful spending, would engage in such illegal conduct. Another reason to vote for Joe Pakootas.
