QB Tyler Hilinski signs financial aid agreement with Washington State
Washington State announced on Tuesday that high school quarterback Tyler Hilinski has signed a financial aid agreement, allowing him to enroll at WSU for spring semester after graduating high school early.
By signing, Hilinski can participate in spring practices in 2015 without losing a year of eligibility. Because the only scholarship quarterbacks on the roster next season will likely be current freshmen Luke Falk and Peyton Bender, Hilinski has a shot to compete for the starting quarterback position.
Hilinski plays for Upland (California) High. As a junior last fall he threw for 34 touchdowns.
