Obituary: Paul, Jack W.

Age 94

PAUL, Jack W. Passed away, August 18, 2014, in the Davenport Hospital.

Jack survived by his wife of 42 years Charlotte Jones Paul.

He has one brother Joe Paul of Edwall, Doris Miller of Valley Ford, Mary Mercer of Kennewick and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jack was preceded in death by parents Malcolm and Alice Paul, Brother Rich Paul, and Brother Bill Paul.

Born on January 5, 1920 of Deep Creek, WA.

Member of Reardan Lions Club, for 36 yrs.

He enjoyed working in community of Reardan.

Jack will be missed for all the hard work during all these years.

On October 22, 1971 was the highlight of his life when, in his fifties married his sweetheart.

Jack was a lifetime resident of Reardan.

Farming was, one of his lifelong dreams for over 70 years.

His other hobbies included fishing, hunting, and did I say hunting, for 35 years he hunted in the Blue Mountains for elk.

In the later years, his time was spent on probably, the best garden in Lincoln County.

Grandpa loved his grand-kids.

There were eight grand-kids, and 18 great-grand-kids.

There is going to be a big hole in the Paul and Hogan Family with Gramps leaving.

Not of his choice, he would have loved to be 100 years old.

Step-dad, Husband, Grandpa and friend, we miss you already… Funeral services, Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of STRATE FUNERAL HOME, 505 10th St. Davenport, WA with Pastor Steve Gutzman, officiating.

Interment to follow at the Reardan Cemetery, Reardan, WA.

Memorials may be made to the Reardan Community Hall and Reardan Fire & EMT’s.
