Obituary: Wright, Donna L.
Age 75
During Donna’s 50 years in Spokane, she spent 30 of those years as a school teacher in Spokane and Spokane Valley as well as volunteering for many years with the WA forest service at Priest Lake.
Donna was most loved for her indomitable spirt.
She lived her life according to her own inner compass making many people “live, laugh and love.”
She enjoyed entertaining people with her singing.
She loved nature and traveled to many places in her “Winnie.”
She loved square dancing, gardening, biking and walking by the Spokane River.
Donna passed away on Friday, August 22, 2014 at Deconess/Rockwood Hospital.
She will be missed and fondly remembered.
Donna is survived by her son, Robert Twohy, Spokane Valley, WA; sister, Jean Hoffman, State College, PA; niece, Tammy Bierly, Centre Hall, PA; nephew, William Hoffman, Unionville, PA; great-nieces and nephews: Dylan Bierly, Kylie Hoffman, Sierra Metcalf, and Shyla Metcalf; and she is also survived by Rebecca Twohy of Golden, WA.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Lucille.
A Funeral Service will be held at Hennessy Funeral Home, 1315 N. Pines Road, Spokane Valley, WA on August 28, 2014 at 10 am.
