Medical heroes

There are three heroes in the news today. They are Dr. Kent Brantly, Nancy Writebol and the American health care system.

The first two put their lives on the line to treat patients in a Third World country with a uniformly fatal contagious disease. This was medical courage in its finest hour.

The third hero is the American health care system that successfully treated the first two with all of its innovative expertise. Hats off to these three for their remarkable courage.
