Meier’s 17 lead Timberwolves over Moscow

Junior Whitney Meier connected on three 3-pointers and finished with 17 points to lead Lake City to a 60-35 nonleague girls high school basketball victory over Moscow on Monday night in Coeur d’Alene.

Sophomore Lauren Rewers added 13 points for the Timberwolves (7-0), who received scoring from 10 of the 11 who played.

Freshman Keara Simpson grabbed 10 rebounds and junior Olivia Maryon had six assists and four steals for the Timberwolves.

Gracey Meyer, a freshman, led Moscow with 13 points.
