Saddened by column

After reading the Nov. 29 column by retired Methodist minister Paul Graves, I was shocked and then saddened by the realization that he had obviously turned away from the truth of the Gospels.

On judgment day, when he is face to face with God, I wonder what his answer will be when the Lord asks him, “Why did you distort my holy word?” How will he answer when he is asked, “Why did you pervert my laws and teachings?”

What, on that day, will be his excuse when God says, “I placed you in the position of a minister to teach and feed my sheep, instead, you led them astray?”
