Liberals show bigotry

The Nov. 30 letter from Robin Wong regarding events in Ferguson, Missouri, was an excellent example of the typical liberal, leftist thought process. Wong’s perception of Ferguson events was solely emotional, with a total absence of fact-based reasoning. Facts are usually of little interest to liberals, but let’s recap a few of them anyway as identified by the multiracial grand jury that heard over 70 hours of testimony.

In summary: A young man robbed a convenience store; he assaulted the store owner; he assaulted a police officer with the car door and his fists; he struggled to take a police officer’s gun; after initially walking away from the police car, he turned and charged at the police officer even after repeatedly being ordered to stop; he left the police officer no choice except to defend himself. There was absolutely no evidence of a racial component to this tragic event.

During an ugly period of America’s past, vigilante lynchings sometimes occurred. Now it is liberals who cry for a return to this practice, but their target is law enforcement officers. Wong is correct that hatred and bigotry are alive and well. However, they are being practiced by liberals.
