Zags home vs. Texas Southern

Gonzaga makes a rare December appearance at the McCarthey Athletic Center when it faces Texas Southern tonight. The Zags’ only other game on their home court in December was nearly two weeks ago, a victory over Southeastern Louisiana.

The ninth-ranked Zags (9-1) have won two straight following an overtime loss to Arizona.

Texas Southern (1-7) knows all about being away from home. After tonight, the Tigers will have played more games in Spokane County than on their home floor in Houston. They lost to Eastern Washington by 24 in its season opener.

The Tigers will play 15 of their first 16 on the road. Their only home game resulted in a win over Lamar in late November.
