Liberty Lake caller reports RV in sales lot open, TV playing

The Liberty Lake Police Department got an unusual call just before 4 a.m. on Dec. 12. The caller reported that a gate at an RV business in the 19000 block of East Cataldo Avenue was open and an RV inside the lot was also open with the lights on.

A television inside the RV was reportedly tuned to a gospel channel, said Liberty Lake Police Chief Brian Asmus. Police officers and a K-9 unit responded to check the lot, but found no one. The gate and RV may have been accidentally left open at the end of the business day, said Asmus.
