Obituary: Goodman, Geraldine Frances “Gerry”

GOODMAN, Geraldine Frances “Gerry” (Age 66) A beloved and loving mother, Gerry passed away peacefully on December 19, 2014 at Hospice of Spokane from complications of cancer.

Gerry was born in the San Francisco Bay Area and moved to Spokane in 1987 with her family.

She is survived by her four children; three grandchildren; two sisters and a brother.

Gerry will be remembered by many as the beautiful and gracious checker at Albertsons Grocery Store, where she worked for nine years.

She was a caring and generous person who touched the lives of friends and strangers alike, to the betterment of all.

She will be greatly missed.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 1517 East 33rd Ave., at 1 p.m..

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to Hospice of Spokane.
