Obituary: Jacobsen, Edna

JACOBSEN, Edna March 11, 1920 ~ December 21, 2014 “Edna, God needs another angel like you.”

She heard her name and answered the call.

Edna Jacobsen passed away on December 21, 2014 with family and caretakers who adored her, by her side.

She was an amazing mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved her family as much as they loved her.

Many will remember her kind smile from her days as a checker and book- keeper at Low Cost and Ray’s Food Center.

Edna will be watching over her sister Doris (Dick), daughter and three sons: Barbara MacKenzie, Ken (Wendy) Jacobsen, Jerry (Trudy) Jacobsen, and Tom (Ginger) Jacobsen.

She also had four grandchildren and five great-grand- children: Shelley, Jayme (Mykayla and Taylor); Garth (Vanessa, Ross and Harrison); J.T.

(Kim and Carson).

Preceded in death by husband Robert.

A private family graveside memorial service will be held at a later date.

Donations can be made in Edna’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Many thanks to Guardian Angel in Post Falls for their loving care .
