WILSON, Hulda Marie November 16, 1924 - January 26, 2014 Hulda was born in Bowdle, SD to Russian immigrant parents, Katherina and Christian Martz, on November 16, 1924 and passed away in Spokane, WA., on January 26, 2014.

Hulda was raised in the Spokane valley.

After graduating from school, she worked for some years before she married Elmer Wilson in 1949.

After marrying, she became a homemaker.

She enjoyed traveling, picnics, and eating out.

She was a quiet person who enjoyed her time with her husband, family, and friends.

She was a meticulous person who would never leave the house unless her hair, clothing, jewelry and makeup were just right.

Hulda was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Elmer Wilson; her sisters, Elizabeth Martz, Frieda Halverson and Christina Lemke; and brothers, Arthur Martz, Edward Martz, and William Martz.

She is survived by her sister, Esther Ernst; sister-in-law, Elva Miller; several nieces and nephews; and extended family.

There are no services planned.

Per her and her husband’s request, her ashes will be scattered with his at a favorite location of theirs.

The family wishes to thank the Henderson Adult Family Home and Family First Senior Care for all of their loving care.
