Americans too trusting
The insinuation that we should trust the federal government agencies – including the National Security Agency, Central Intelligence Agency, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Department of Defense, National Security Council, both houses of Congress and countless others – to safeguard privacy is utterly ridiculous. I would be interested to see “intelligence” about political contributors, DOD contractors, black ops assassinations, et al.
But my guess is such information is deemed of too sensitive a nature for public dissemination. The public is already just giving up on our democracy, and you’re partly to blame.
