Four corners: Idaho Vandals

Coming up: Tonight vs. New Mexico State, 7; Saturday vs. Texas-Pan American, 7 p.m.

Outlook: When Idaho and New Mexico State met in early January, the Aggies were without 7-foot-5 center Sim Bhullar (foot) and still rolled by 24 points. Now Bhullar is back and NMSU (17-7, 6-2) is starting to click again after a two-game skid in WAC play. It trounced conference-leading Utah Valley 72-49 last week and has won three straight. The Aggies have the best RPI among WAC teams (No. 73), and they rank in the top 20 in the nation in field-goal percentage (48.5). Idaho has lost eight of its past 10 games and is tied for last place in the WAC with Cal State Bakersfield and Texas-Pan American.
