Obituary: Hubbard, Kathleen V.

HUBBARD, Kathleen V. Kathy returned to be with her Lord on December 31, 2013, reuniting with her husband Arthur, mother and father, Harold and Mary, and brothers and sisters, Mary, Anna, Margie, Jimmy, Thomas, Joan, and sons James and Charles.

She passed away gently and quietly in her home, thanks to Horizon Hospice, surrounded by her son Harold and friend Kim Fletcher.

She was visited and surrounded in her final days by her family and friends.

She was a native of Brooklyn, New York, where she met and married the love of her life, Art.

They moved to Spokane to raise their four children, James, Charles, Harold, and Kay.

She was a member of Spokane Eagles Aerie #2, and the Hillyard Seniors Center and past member of ECCC where she spent many happy hours with her friends.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Kathy is survived by her son Harold and daughter Kay.

She was also blessed with two other children, Carl and Lu.

She was blessed with 12 grandchildren, Jana, Kristy, Jessica, Brianna, James, Arthur, Kristina, Mark, Scott, Brett, James and Dean; four great-grandchildren, Amber, Isabella, Alahandro and Aiden; brothers and sisters, Pat, Tess, Bill, Bobbie, and Jean; numerous nephews and nieces.

A Celebration of Life is being held today at the Eagles Lodge North from 2-6 pm.
