She was born on February 12, 1929 to Billy and Clarence Stevens in Spokane, Washington.
She had a younger sister, Virginia Tessier who passed away last year.
Marylou attended Holy Names Academy in Spokane and worked at Fidelity Bank.
She married Dick McWilliams in 1955 and they have enjoyed each other for 59 years.
They had five children; Nancy (Dan), Rob (Debbie), Eddie, Pat (Sharon) and Dan (Janice).
Dick and Marylou have nine grand- children: Megan, Mitchell, Tracey, Cori, Casey, Nick, Zach, Brenna and Owen.
Marylou loved playing bridge and mahjong and was an avid reader.
She started her own book store, ‘The Book Worm’, which she operated for several years.
She enjoyed gardening and spending time at both Newman and Priest Lakes.
Marylou taught Catholic Catechism Classes for many years and welcomed to her home all of her kids’ friends and neighbor friends as well.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 15 at 11:00am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 219 Rockwood Boulevard, Spokane.
