Obituary: Carson, Irene Marjorie
Age 89
Irene was born to Ernest and May Smith January 21, 1925 in Yakima, WA.
In 1950 she moved to Spokane and in 1952 married Jerry L. Carson, adopting their only child, Rhonda Carson in 1954.
She had various jobs throughout the years including over 35 years making, teaching and selling ceramics.
She will be remembered for her creative talent, her laugh, smile and great sense of humor, and her love of family, friends, and animals.
Irene is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Carson-Gray; grandson Jesse Gray, his wife Shannon; and her two great-grandchildren Anna and Ethan Gray of Meridian, ID.
Also her companion of 11 years Harold “Hal” Totten of Usk, WA and Yuma, AZ.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Lloyd and Robert, sisters Helen and Evelynn, husband Jerry L. Carson and grandson Ryan C. Gray.
Viewing will be from 10-5pm, Monday, February 17th, 2014 at Heritage Funeral Home and Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, February 18th at 11AM at Heritage Funeral Home.
