REPSOLD, Corinne S. (Age 93) Born in Evanston, Illinois on October 19, 1920 to John and Corinne (Patton) Somerville, she was the third of four children. Corinne graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Child Development from Vassar College and was heading to a Master’s in Public Health at Yale when Nelson Repsold proposed. They were married in September 1943 at the Davenport Hotel in Spokane while stationed here in the Army Air Force. She helped start two churches (Plymouth and Heritage Congregational), worked with children and youth in several others and served as the Advisor to married student wives at Multnomah University in Portland, OR for many years. She also enjoyed reading, swimming, travel and spending quality time with her family at their home on Lake Coeur d’Alene, ID. She was a selfless mother and grandmother who taught her children and grandchildren to read, cook, play instruments, garden, study and love God. She never stopped learning and growing. Corinne died at the age of 93 in Vancouver, WA., on February 12, 2014. She was predeceased in 2010 by her husband, Nelson B. Repsold; and siblings, Suzanne Faulkner and Carol Corey.
