Palouse Country Cowboy Poetry Association - The Palouse Country Cowboy Poetry Association will give a performance of love songs and poetry in honor of the Valentine holiday. Author Linda Hogan – A poetry reading presented as part of the Gonzaga University Visiting Writers Series. Hogan is a Chickasaw poet, novelist, essayist, playwright, activist and public speaker. She is the author of several works of fiction, nonfiction and poetry, including “Mean Spirit,” a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize and winner of the Oklahoma Book Award, the Mountains and Plains Book Award; “Solar Storms,” a finalist for the International Impact Award; “The Book of Medicines,” a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award.
