Coming up: Idaho men’s basketball

COMING UP: Saturday at Seattle, 7 p.m. (Root)

OUTLOOK: Idaho has three games left before the WAC tournament, all of them on the road and each important for positioning. UI is one of six teams separated by only three games in the loss column in the league standings. If the Vandals win out, they could climb to the No. 3 seed in the eight-team tourney (Grand Canyon is ineligible because of its transition to Division I). But UI could slip to seventh or eighth if the next two weeks don’t go well. The stretch starts at Seattle U, which edged UI 68-67 on Feb. 1. SU’s Isiah Umipig (19.5 ppg) is second in the WAC in scoring behind Idaho’s Stephen Madison (19.8).
