Messiest Blizzard Art Camp - Jump into the new year with a splash of paint, a dash of glitter and a whole lot of messy fun. Campbell House Holidays - Campbell House comes alive for the holiday season with festive decorations and activities. During this living history event set in 1910, help Hulda, the Campbells’ cook roll out sugar cookies. Ask Joseph Rainsberry, the coachman, about the electric car and talk to Mrs. Campbell about her views on temperance and women’s suffrage. Spokane Valley Heritage Museum - Looking for something to do with your kids during Christmas break? Come check out the Spokane Valley Heritage Museum. The popular Railroad and Native American Indian exhibits continue and there are many other exhibits to experience. Play in a Day - Christian Youth Theater - North Idaho (CYT-North Idaho) in conjunction with Chill Bucket Productions will host their Fifth Annual Play in a Day Fundraiser. All participants are asked to sign up online before the event at the CYT-NI website. This year’s show will be an original musical written by Chill Bucket Productions called “Hansel and Gretel.” Auditions are Thursday, 4 p.m. 7:30 p.m. Salvation Army Kroc Center, 1765 W. Lego Build Day at the Library - Bring the family as the traveling Lego Build Day stops at each Spokane County Library throughout 2014. Drop in for an hour or all day. Enjoy some snacks and build to your heart’s content. Your awesome creations will be on display at that library for the month. Then they will be dismantled and the Legos shipped off to the next library for their Lego Build Day. All ages welcome, but children 6 and younger should be accompanied by an adult.
