Obama foes overreach

My favorite way to spend a leisurely afternoon is the bookstore. I have to admit, I’m an addict. I like all kinds of literature, fiction, nonfiction; so long as it’s in hard cover, that’s my vice.

One afternoon I noticed a little black book: “The Constitution of the United States of America with the Declaration of Independence.” What a jewel! Of course, I bought copies for my children and grandchildren.

While reading, I came across Article II, Section 4: “… the President … shall be removed from Office … for … Treason, Bribery or other High Crimes. …”

What kind of crimes did he commit?

President Obama has selflessly and tirelessly worked to make our world safer, strengthen our economy and defend the rights of every citizen, young and old; no matter their origin, income or faith.

Still, voices call for impeachment; unappreciative, envious or simply determined to undercut the president at any cost. In the spirit of patriotism, may our leaders fulfill their duty and work together for the national interest.

In the spirit of the season, may they show a little less malice and a little more of “Peace on Earth and good will towards men!”
