Don’t single out guns

In response to Tammy Fountaine’s Dec. 30 letter, regarding a gun-related accident:

I don’t seem to recall her concern about the Dec. 27 meth-related accident that killed a child, the Oct. 22 meth-related accident that injured a mother and child, or the Aug 5. drug-related car fire, injuring a child caused by her father cooking drugs while driving.

But, one time a pistol accidentally fires from a holster injuring a child, and she selects this as a soapbox to push an anti-gun agenda.

If people really care about children being injured, then condemn other activities that cause harm.
