I-90 reopens at Cataldo following fatal crash

Interstate 90 is open at Cataldo, Idaho, following a crash that killed two people Tuesday morning. The Idaho State Police responded to multiple car accidents in that area, including one in which a Nissan Pathfinder slid on ice and crossed the median, where it was then struck by a truck. Two people in the car, Benjamin Mullican, 39, and Korie Mullican, 36, both of Post Falls, died at the scene, the ISP said. Philip Giesbrecht, 58, the driver of the semitruck, and his passenger John Giesbrecht were not injured, the ISP said. I-90 was blocked for six hours after the 10:30 a.m. crash, ISP said.
