Obituary: Littell, Betty F.

LITTELL, Betty F. Passed away December 15, 2013 at Avalon Care Center at Northpointe in Spokane, Washington.

Mrs. Littell, along with her twin brother Billy B. Floyd, was born to Sonny Floyd and Sally Weaver Floyd in Rome, Georgia on May 30, 1923.

Mrs. Littell was raised in Georgia and after the death of her mother at age 11; she became the matriarch of her family raising younger brother, Charles.

In the early 1940s, Mrs. Littell traveled to Spokane, where she met the love of her life, Marvin D. Littell.

To this union was born Sally Ann Littell in 1947.

Marvin passed away December 19, 1993 and Sally passed away March 14, 2000.

Mrs. Littell is also predeceased by her four brothers, Arthur Floyd, Billy Floyd, Harold Floyd and Charles Floyd.

Mrs. Littell made her home in Spokane and Maui, Hawaii for many years and was retired from Old National Bank in Spokane.

She was a member of the Suburbanites as well as the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection in Spokane Valley.

Mrs. Littell is survived by three nieces and one nephew in the Spokane area and three nephews and one niece in Georgia, as well as dear friends, Bob and Pam Ayers and Paul and Donna Swavely.

Funeral services were held at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 with Reverend Linda Bartholomew officiating.
