Two-car head-on crash south of Spangle called vehicular assault

A head-on collision between two cars caused injuries on U.S. Highway 195 south of Spangle on Wednesday, and Washington State Patrol has one person in custody on suspicion of vehicular assault. The northbound lane of 195 at Cheney Plaza Road was blocked as WSP investigated the collision, which occurred at about 8:20 p.m. WSP believes drugs or alcohol was a factor in the crash. No further information was immediately available Wednesday night.
