PHINNEY, Elda G. 1923 - 2014 Born January 30, 1923 in Leola, South Dakota was a resident of Elk, WA., for the past 72 years.

Elda joyfully joined her husband, Harold, in heaven after a 20 year wait on January 6, 2014.

Her life was filled with family, gardening, knitting, baking bread, making pickles, and she was passionate about her involvement at Peaceful Valley Church.

Elda was preceded in death by her husband Harold; one son, Arlow H. Phinney; two brothers; and two sisters.

She is survived by one son, Dwayne (wife Donna), four daughters, Cindy Smith, Sherry Spencer (husband Gary), Sheila Gibbons (husband Norm), Susan Conley (husband Mark); 19 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

A private family graveside service was held on January 11, 2014 and a memorial service will be held in honor of her life on January 25, 2014 at 11:00AM at Peaceful Valley Church 201 Allen Rd., Elk, WA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Peaceful Valley Church.
