Police acquittals an outrage

“Now see these fists? They’re going to (expletive) you up.” (“Officers acquitted in death of homeless man,” Jan. 14).

This is how our police are being trained? To hit a man over and over in the face enough to break bones when he is unarmed? And the California officers charged with second-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter were acquitted?

Well, it’s good to know that should you ever “frustrate” a police officer you very well may be beat to death. After all, if you struggled with substance abuse, what is your life worth anyway, right?
