Pharmacy robbery at Indian Trail Albertsons

A clumsy crook robbed the pharmacy inside the Albertsons store on Indian Trail Road shortly after 7 p.m. tonight and briefly got away with several bottles of oxycodone. “Whether he fumbled or tripped or what, he dropped the bottles in the street,” said Lt. Dean Sprague of the Spokane Police Department. The man jumped the pharmacy counter to grab the bottles of painkillers, Sprague said. He is described as a white man in his 20’s wearing a black jacket and a blue bandana over his face. This is the seventh pharmacy robbery reported in Spokane County since Jan. 1.
