Elsie Story, Mt. Spokane

Age: 17

Plans to attend: Capernwray Bible School

Best advice: My mom explained to me in seventh grade that I can’t please everyone, no matter how hard I try, and it has stuck with me to this day. I need to focus on being the best face of me. Nothing more and nobody else. There will be people in life that for whatever reason won’t like me or that I cannot please. If I am doing the best I can, doing what is right and loving all I come into contact with. It is up to others to decide how they will treat me in return. She told me to love all but to not be disappointed in myself or feel like a failure if some don’t love in return.
