Four corners: Idaho Vandals

COMING UP: Tonight at Grand Canyon, 6.

OUTLOOK: This is a good time for Idaho to play just one game in a 13-day stretch. Starting point guard Glen Dean missed the Vandals’ last two games with a sprained ankle and is doubtful for tonight against Grand Canyon, coach Don Verlin said. Mike Scott has thrived as Dean’s replacement, but Verlin’s bigger concern is Idaho’s depth without Dean. Reserve guard Sekou Wiggs (knee) missed the Utah Valley game (a 71-66 loss) and played just two minutes in a 64-61 win over Cal State Bakersfield. Verlin said he’s progressing well. Grand Canyon is coached by former Phoenix Suns guard Dan Majerle.
