Spokane Police arrest four on bank robbery suspicions

From staff reports
Spokane Police have arrested four men they think were involved in a pair of bank robberies in the Garland district during the past two months. Adrian Morris, 23; Darren Morris Jr., 24; Tyree Wortham, 28; and John Jones, 28; were booked into Spokane County Jail late Friday, according to jail records. They face various charges of armed and bank robbery and are scheduled to make a first appearance in court as early as this afternoon. Robbers hit the Washington Trust Bank at 3810 N. Maple St. the morning of Jan. 3, fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash. Security cameras captured a photo of one of the robbers, described as a black man with a medium build in his mid-20s. Three men entered the bank disguised in ski masks and armed with handguns, according to police. Investigators said earlier this month they thought the men in that robbery were also responsible for a similar incident Dec. 20. at a U.S. Bank branch, also in the Garland neighborhood.
