Troops quickly forgotten

You know the war is over when Congress starts failing the troops. The Murray-Ryan budget cuts young military retirees’ pensions. They are the troops who are on duty now and are not able to protest.

Next time you’re tempted to tell someone “Thanks for your service,” tell them “I’m sorry we’re failing you.” Or try “No good deed goes unpunished.”

By the way, Congress will go after you if you let them get away with this.
